No it's not a question, it's definitely time to diet! The scales, my body and my health tell me so!
I tried to diet many years ago, and I did actually lose a couple of stone, so I do know what I should or should not be eating.
My weight can has been a type of sneaky sort. I stay the same weight for a long time, sometimes years, and then for some reason I will put on a few pounds quite quickly. Instead of doing something about it then I ignore it and then later down the road a few more pounds go on.
I must be reasonably good at the maintenance lark, because I had been at my last weight for at least five years, until this last autumn when I suddenly put on a stone in weight and it was well before Christmas.
I sometimes think I should loose weight but that's as far as it gets, thinking about it, life gets in the way of the rest.
I think age is now playing a part and my body is not liking the extra weight it is carrying, I know that I will feel a lot better if I loose it but staying focused will be a problem.
Weight loss is a terrible thing, dieting, if you are not careful, can take over your life. Weight loss is meant to be a life change not an obsession.
I need to find myself an interesting diet, not too fussy or complicated.
To improve weight loss and my overall fitness I also need to find an exercise programme. I've never exercised apart from my gardening and now I sit at a desk too long during the week.
